Sycai Medical is a young digital health company focused on increasing early-stage cancer detection and improving patients’ quality of life by applying AI-based algorithms to medical imaging.
Our first product helps radiologists detect, locate, and classify pancreatic cystic lesions on CT scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). By combining imaging information and patient history data, it predicts the likelihood of each lesion progressing to pancreatic cancer, the fourth leading cause of cancer death in Europe, with a median survival time from diagnosis of 5 months.
We are seeking a PhD in Deep Learning to expand our portfolio by applying our technology to other organs in the abdomen to increase early-stage diagnosis of abdominal cancers.
